A two-panel graphic collage showing night-time processional images of a decorated deity murti on a palanquin or vehicle. Both panels are richly garlanded with marigold and flower strings in yellow, orange and pink, with tassels and bright fairy lights. The larger upper panel shows a close view of the garlanded murti, which has a golden crown and a painted face. The lower-left panel shows the decorated vehicle with several white-clad men in dhoti and shirt walking beside it, one carrying a red bag, and a crowd of people behind. The collage pictures a procession but no identifiable a person figure is shown.2011-10-03Photo 11683178October 04 20112011-10-04October 06 20112011-10-06 +2 copiesDecember 09 20112011-12-09October 04 20112011-10-04Photo 11684505December 05 20112011-12-05November 21 20102010-11-21December 05 20112011-12-05Night procession scene at a ratha or chariot shrine decorated with colourful geometric panels in red, yellow, blue and white, with orange fringe. At the centre a deity murti wears a gold crown and a garland of yellow marigolds, dressed in a teal-blue cloth. In front, a priest in orange-red ritual cloth performs aarti with a flame and offering plates on a low platform. Several devotees in white and orange shawls stand with hands joined in prayer, and an elderly bald man in the foreground watches from the crowd. Several people are visible, and no figure is clearly identifiable as a person.2010-11-18October 31 20112011-10-31 +1 copies
