A temple shrine courtyard where a shaven-headed man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with rudraksha malas, stands at left holding a flower or offering over the head of a man in white kurta and white pants who bends forward with bowed head. Several women stand in a line behind them: one in a saffron sari near the centre, one in a purple top and white pants wearing a garland of orange flowers, a younger girl in white, and women in a teal kurta and a pink top. Behind them a deity murti in a painted shrine niche with orange and green drapery, orange marigold garlands, and a red-and-white painted railing. This appears to be a padapuja, a ritual foot-worship in which devotees are received at a temple.2011-08-19November 21 20112011-11-21December 01 20102010-12-01July 14 20112011-07-14Photo 11682727 +2 copiesJune 01 20092009-06-01A photograph of a temple entrance area with a stone shrine and a dark signboard reading Dhyanapeetam. A man in saffron robes with a large garland of red, pink and yellow flowers stands barefoot on a stone platform, smiling, while a woman in a white sari bends down to touch the platform near his feet. Beside her, a man in a white shirt and a younger man in orange robes look on, and a woman in white stands at the left edge. On the right, a shrine holds seated figures in orange and red robes, one with an orange turban, decorated with marigold garlands, and a brass lamp stands nearby. The people are dressed in white and saffron, and a stone carved wall panel is visible on the right.2008-08-07December 02 20092009-12-02A photograph of an evening crowd gathered at a temple entrance decorated with banana plants and red-and-white striped poles. At centre, a smiling man wears an orange turban, orange shawl and a long rudraksha mala, with a bare upper chest visible. Around him stand devotees in white kurta-style clothing, one woman in a red sari at the back, and others in light shirts and salwar. The man's orange and rudraksha cues are distinctive, though the setting is an ordinary group greeting, so identity remains uncertain. A small purple logo appears at the upper left.2003-04-11November 06 20112011-11-06 +1 copiesJanuary 15 20152015-01-15A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, garlanded with white jasmine and multicoloured flower garlands, smiling as he touches the forehead of a kneeling elderly person in white clothing with a white shawl. A young woman with long dark hair in white attire sits to the left, hands folded, and a woman in a red silk sari sits beside the garlanded figure. Standing people in white and cream clothing and a woman in a brown sari and another in a blue sari are visible in the background, along with a light-coloured doorway and a blue-and-white striped mat. The setting appears to be a ceremonial house visit.
