A photograph of a homa fire ritual in a hall with a lattice-screened wall and a framed portrait high on the left wall. A bright fire pit burns in the foreground beside a brass vessel, where people sit in white and orange clothes. A figure in a saffron-orange robe and matching turban, with long dark hair, stands at the fire holding a tall bamboo staff; the figure matches the Swamiji candidate in appearance (saffron clothing, long hair, turban), so this is a probable identification. Behind them, rows of devotees in white garments sit or stand, some with hands folded, and a man in white holds a small basket. A camera on a tripod is visible at left.

A photograph of a homa at a yellow-brick fire pit, with a bright flame rising from the burning wood. A man in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange head wrap, seated at left, holds a ladle over the fire and speaks into a microphone on a stand. Beside him, seated devotees in white ritual clothes press their palms together or hold incense sticks, and a brass vessel of ghee and small oil lamps sit near the pit. Behind them, a large brass lamp stand and a dark-framed metal artwork hang on the wall, with rows of seated devotees in white and a woman in yellow sari at right. Ritual performed with a fire pit and offerings, consistent with a homa. Appearance-based cues: saffron robe and orange head wrap, but not enough for a confident identity; the figure is labelled only as the officiating priest leading the homa.

A seated long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe and beaded necklaces sits on an ornate silver-and-red throne in a hall, facing a gathering. Around him, many devotees sit on the floor in orange shawls and white dhotis with yellow borders, some with rudraksha malas. A man in white and yellow clothes sits centre-front on a green mat, and a woman in a blue-and-purple sari sits in the right foreground. A microphone stand stands at lower right, and a fire extinguisher hangs on the back wall.

Photograph of a ritual at night beside a homa fire pit with flames at the lower left and brass oil lamps and vessels on a stone platform. A figure in saffron-orange robes lies prostrate on the ground in front of a raised seat draped with orange and gold cloth. Around them, people in white clothes with white flower garlands sit and stand, a woman in a red head covering and green shawl sits among them, and devotees stand near a deity murti with flower garlands at the back. Offerings of bananas, fruit and flower petals lie on the floor, and a microphone stands at the left edge.

Night photo of a homa ceremony at an open-sided pavilion. A fire burns in a rectangular fire pit at the centre, with a small oil lamp nearby. Many people sit on the floor in white and cream clothes, several women and girls wearing white garlands of jasmine-like flowers around their necks, seen from behind with dark hair. A figure in a saffron-orange robe sits near the fire at the right, and a man in white stands at the far right. Wooden posts frame the hall, and a few people sit at the back in white and red.

2004 - First Sannyas Deeksha At AdiKailaasa

A seated group of devotees gathers on a stone floor in front of a shrine, many facing a man in a rust-orange robe holding a microphone and speaking. Some women wear orange, pink, green and red saris, and several men wear white dhotis with rudraksha malas. A small figure in a dark shirt sits to the right. At the upper right, a deity murti draped in orange and garlanded stands near a wooden stand. Behind the group, several people in orange and white stand near pillars and a fan. Several people sit with their heads turned toward the speaker, with a palanquin-style wooden frame at left.

Indoor ritual gathering in a red-draped hall where a large crowd of devotees sits on the floor holding lit oil lamps and small brass dishes. In the upper right, a figure in a saffron-orange robe and orange turban sits on an ornate gold throne with a carved gold backrest, wearing a long beaded necklace with gold ornaments. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and women in saris and salwar kameez sit closely together, many wearing red and orange shawls. A brass oil lamp stands on the left, and a camera on a tripod is visible at the top left. The scene reads as a satsang or puja with lamps held by devotees.
