Night photo of a courtyard beside red-orange buildings and an oleander bush with pink flowers. In the foreground a woman in an orange silk sari holds a lit sparkler aloft with her right arm, smiling. Behind her a man in an orange dhoti and rudraksha mala holds a sparkler, and another man in white dhoti and shawl with a bead necklace smiles at the right. Several other people in orange and saffron saris stand in the background near a green gate, celebrating Diwali with sparklers.

Night photograph on a brick-paved walkway beside a lit building with a covered canopy. Several monastic men in saffron-orange robes stand and walk; one at left wears orange dhoti and shawl, a bald man in the centre wears orange with a rudraksha mala, and a figure behind wears light saffron. At right a man in a yellow shirt and dark trousers moves past, partly blurred, near a person in red cloth bending over a large grey sack on the ground. No visible person is clearly identified as a person by the cues required, so the appearance is uncertain and roles are given instead.

Evening photograph of a group walking across a tiled courtyard past a potted tree and orange-walled garden beds, under a building with red columns and an arched entrance. In front, a man in an orange kurta and orange dhoti walks with long hair, followed by a man in a red-orange robe with a gold-bordered dhoti, an orange-red turban and a large beaded mala and gold necklace. Beside him, a bald man in a red-orange robe wears a rudraksha mala. Several more men in saffron and maroon robes follow, and a man in a white shirt stands in the background near the pillar. Scattered white petals cover the tiles.

Night photograph of an open dirt courtyard among trees at an ashram. In the foreground, a man in saffron-orange robes walks forward, followed by another in orange carrying a brass kalasha or pot with green leaves on a tray. Behind them, a man in an orange robe and a few people in white dhotis walk through the courtyard. A woven mat rests on a table at the right edge.

A photograph of an outdoor courtyard at a pink building with a doorway decorated with orange marigold garlands. Three saffron-robed men stand on bare dirt in conversation: a shaved-headed man in orange on the left gesturing with his hand, an elderly bald man in a pale peach wrap in the centre with his hands folded, and a figure with long dark wavy hair in an orange robe on the right. Another saffron-robed man stands at the far right edge, and a cameraman in a red shirt films near the doorway. Sandals are scattered on the ground, a banana plant and a tree are behind, and a few other people stand in the background. The a person candidate is not clearly distinguishable by appearance here, so no identification is made.

Evening photograph of saffron-robed devotees walking along a reddish dirt path at night, lit by ambient light beneath dark trees and oleander bushes with pink flowers. In the foreground a young man in an orange dhoti and shawl walks barefoot, his arms at his sides. Behind him to the right, two men in orange garments carry brass vessels and trays, one holding a lit brass lamp. A white-clad figure stands at the far right edge. In the background a shrine area with red-and-white painted pillars and a small deity murti decorated with garlands.

Dusk scene on a dirt path beneath large trees, with a low concrete curb on the left. Several men walk in a line. Four or five wear saffron/orange robes with bare feet, including a shaved-headed monk in the foreground and another monk behind him. Two men on the left wear white dhotis and white shirts with yellow shawls and beaded necklaces. A green hedge and a concrete wall with red-topped posts stand in the background.

Outdoor evening photograph under dense trees beside a garden and a dim lamp post. A row of men in saffron-orange robes and shawls stands at the left, several with shaved heads; the man second from left and the older man in the centre wear light tan-orange wraps. A woman in orange sari with her back to the camera faces the group, and to the right a line of men in white dhotis with yellow shawls and rudraksha-style beads stands near a low stone wall. A red-draped object and a carved gold-coloured arch are visible in the background. No individual can be confidently identified from appearance, so the a person field is unsure.
