September 17 20102010-09-17A photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a red-draped room. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears an orange dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark; he holds his hands together and his bare feet rest on a gold tray. Devotees sit around the tray: a woman in white with an orange shawl bowing her head, a woman in orange and blue with an orange shawl, a woman in white at the right, and several others in orange clothing with palms pressed together. Trays hold flowers, fruit and brass vessels. Behind the throne are pink flowers, a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda", and framed images of saints. A small child stands at the right edge.2012-07-16July 22 20122012-07-22A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne in front of a dark blue draped curtain. The figure, with long dark hair and wearing an orange saffron wrap, a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, sits with hands folded in the lap, a person by appearance. In front of the throne, a row of devotees sits on the floor in prayer postures, including a man in a blue shirt, a woman in a white sari, a man in white with folded hands, and women in cream and yellow saris. Small brass bowls of fruit and flowers sit on a gold tray near the throne, and a small projector and water bottle rest on a side table.2011-01-23A photograph of a seated puja scene in an indoor hall. A man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and sits on an ornate gold throne with a pink cushion, holding his hands together and looking upward; a microphone stands before him. Seated on the floor in front of him, a shaved-headed priest in white ritual dhoti and sacred thread attends brass and silver plates holding red fruit, flowers and small cups. Around them devotees sit with palms pressed together in prayer, including a man in a blue polo shirt, a woman in a white sari and a woman in a patterned top. A purple flower tray rests on a small side table. Their clothing and posture suggest a satsang or padapuja gathering.2011-01-23A photograph of a satsang in a plain hall with a maroon curtain and blue drapes behind. A figure with long dark hair and a crown-like headwear seated on an ornate gold throne with red cushions wears an orange robe and rudraksha-style beads, appearing to be a person, with a microphone and a water bottle at his side. Seated before him on the floor, devotees fold their hands in prayer: a man in a blue shirt, a woman in a white sari with gold border, a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti with a sacred thread, and several women in saris. Brass plates on the floor hold red flowers and small oil lamps, and the foreground shows the backs of other attendees.2011-01-23A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne before a navy blue curtain. The figure wears an orange saffron wrap, a long-haired appearance with a red tilak, and a gold-beaded necklace; this appearance is consistent with the Swamiji (probable) candidate for the page's Pada Puja event. Before the throne stands a small table with fruit, flowers and a brass dish. Around the foreground, several devotees sit on the floor: a man in a white shirt with a mala holds his hands together, a woman in a white sari sits at left, a bald man in a red shawl with hands joined, and women in yellow, teal and blue clothing. Trays of fruit, apples, and pujas plates sit in front of them. A projector rests on the right side of the stage.2011-01-23A photograph of a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne, with long swept-back hair and eyes closed, his feet resting on a low platform. Before him, several women and a few men sit on the floor, some with palms pressed together in prayer. In front of them are silver trays holding apples, flowers, small bowls and lamps. A man in white with a shaved head and another in white with a rudraksha mala sit at the back, one near a microphone stand. Dark blue drapes frame the stage. A wooden lectern with gold trim stands at the right edge. Counting visible people gives about ten.2010-10-08December 15 20092009-12-15A seated man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a white garland sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with eyes closed, hands in front of him. Before him is a gold tray of brass plates holding offerings of fruit, pink lotus flowers and food. Around the throne, devotees sit with palms pressed together in namaste: a woman in a white and pink sari, an older woman in a green top and white shawl, a young woman in yellow, and men in white shirts. A shaved-headed priest in white clothing with a sacred thread sits in the foreground. The setting is a temple-like hall with red and white walls and a dark plaque on the wall behind. This is a satsang-style ritual reception with a puja offering.2010-11-01November 15 20102010-11-15A photograph of an indoor satsang-style gathering in a hall with a dark curtain backdrop. A long-haired man in a sleeveless saffron-orange garment with a rudraksha mala stands on the right beside a gold-and-red ornate throne chair, eyes closed, hands folded, while seated devotees sit on the floor.
