Before him, a gold-trimmed wooden table holds fruit and flowers. In the foreground, a shaven-headed priest in white dhoti with a red shawl and a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered cloth and pendant pray with folded hands beside a brass plate of offerings and flower garlands, and a man in white stands by. Several seated devotees sit at lower right. A dark blue curtain hangs behind the stage and a purple bird logo appears at upper left, indicating a ritual pada puja offering.2010-10-19July 22 20122012-07-22A seated man in an orange robe with a red tilak on his forehead sits on an ornate gold throne with a red backrest, hands pressed together in namaskar. A white and orange floral garland hangs around the throne's base area. In front, on a gold-brass tray, sit small glass bowls and dishes, and women and girls in white and yellow-trimmed garments, some with orange shawls, hold aarti lamps and offerings while seated on the floor. A pink draped backdrop and tent-like canopy frame the scene. Water bottles and small objects sit on a wooden side table. The setting suggests a puja or aarti ceremony, with several attendees in white clothing and one shaved-headed person in white in the lower right.2009-12-07August 09 20092009-08-09A standing man in orange saffron robes with long swept-back hair and rudraksha malas stands at right beside a gold-and-red throne, his hands joined near his feet as a ritual offering is presented. In front, a row of devotees sit on the floor with palms pressed together in prayer; a woman in a white and light-green sari and a woman in red sit nearby. Silver trays holding pink flowers and offerings sit on a yellow cloth in the foreground. Behind them, a bald man in white clothes folds his hands, and more people sit in the background near an open doorway in a red-walled hall. Two empty gold thrones with red cushions and a table with fruit and malas complete the scene. The standing figure shows the appearance cues of the a person, so this is an in-person candidate.2010-08-21
