May 24 20182018-05-24A night ceremony beside a dark water body with a metal staircase railing at left. A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a canopy of multicoloured tassels sits with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing an orange robe and bare feet, with a garland of marigolds and red flowers draped over the throne. A shaved-headed attendant in orange dhoti and shawl stands at left, holding up his hands near a lit tall white candle, beside a small offering tray with flowers and a bowl. Other attendants in orange and yellow sit near the lower edge, and the throne platform is decorated with marigold and multicoloured garlands and cloth swags.2011-03-03September 16 20152015-09-16December 26 20132013-12-26June 22 20142014-06-22 +1 copiesDecember 26 20132013-12-26December 22 20162016-12-22July 29 20072007-07-29Outdoor padapuja ceremony in which a person seated on a red cushioned throne, wearing rust-red draped robes, a gold-and-beaded garland and white tilak, extends a hand in blessing over a devotee kneeling before the seat. Another devotee in white with an orange shawl bends forward, hands folded, while red flower petals lie near the feet. Behind them, women in red and maroon saris hold brass tridents and ritual items beside saffron-shawled men and a woman in white with folded hands. Red and yellow decorative cloth and palms frame the open-air setting. Seated figure appears to be a person, the throne-seated figure receiving padapuja.2013-12-26A photograph of a ceremonial procession on a brick-paved platform in front of a red multi-storey building with water tanks. A large dark stone structure shaped like an arched tomb-like shrine is wrapped in a garland of marigolds, roses and green leaves in red, yellow, white and purple. A striped canopy umbrella with red, green, blue and white fringes is raised above it on a pole. Several men stand on and around the shrine: one in the centre wears an orange-brown robe and holds the shrine's edge, one wears a white shawl and a head covering, and one on the right wears an orange robe, rudraksha beads and a headband. Their gestures suggest a ritual or ceremonial offering at the shrine.2018-01-01 +1 copiesA seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long gold-beaded necklace with a large gold pendant sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with garlands of yellow, red and white flowers and green leaves. Two golden deity murti flank him, each wearing a jeweled crown, white jasmine garlands and jeweled ornaments; the left one has an orange turban. Behind is a red draped backdrop. The seated man's appearance matches the page's reference to a person with saffron robes and a gold necklace, but the identification is uncertain.2012-10-17December 26 20132013-12-26 +1 copies
