A low circular white-edged bed of sandy soil surrounds the base, with a few small brass kalasha-style pots placed at the foot of the trunk. A thin rope is strung between branches, and a small purple cloth is tied high in the canopy at upper left. No people are visible; the scene is a sacred tree shrine setting.2016-08-12 +1 copiesSeptember 05 20092009-09-05September 05 20092009-09-05September 05 20092009-09-05June 10 20132013-06-10 +1 copiesA large banyan tree dominates the frame, its spreading horizontal branches and many hanging aerial roots forming a dense canopy of green leaves. Thick trunks and root clusters rise from the ground at the centre, and a low stone-edged planter sits at the lower right against a reddish wall.
