A low circular white-edged bed of sandy soil surrounds the base, with a few small brass kalasha-style pots placed at the foot of the trunk. A thin rope is strung between branches, and a small purple cloth is tied high in the canopy at upper left. No people are visible; the scene is a sacred tree shrine setting.2016-08-12 +1 copiesJune 11 20142014-06-11A large banyan tree with a dense canopy of spreading branches and many hanging aerial roots dropping down to the bare reddish-orange earth around its trunks.
