A golden cobra hood (naga) arches over the lingam, and a golden yoni-pitha base holds it. He reaches out to adjust the garlands while a banyan tree and a tent canopy frame the outdoor shrine.2018-01-14 +1 copiesJanuary 14 20182018-01-14January 14 20182018-01-14A photograph inside a temple hall with a red-patterned floor, showing a bearded man with long dreadlocked hair and a tripundra mark on his forehead, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a large rudraksha mala and a gold chain, standing with hands joined at his waist and smiling. Beside him stands a large polished silver bowl on a gold-cloth-draped stool, surrounded by orange and yellow flower garlands, next to a lit silver oil lamp. On the right, a tall garland of pink lotus, green leaves and marigolds drapes over a gold brocade-covered seat or peetha. A small silver cup sits on the stool. The scene reads as a puja setting with offerings.2018-05-30March 11 20182018-03-11April 14 20182018-04-14October 03 20162016-10-03 +2 copiesJanuary 14 20182018-01-14October 03 20162016-10-03January 01 20172017-01-01A man in a rust-red dhoti and a leopard-print shawl stands at the side of a shrine, his hand extended toward a deity murti seated on a throne. The murti is adorned with pink and yellow garlands, a cobra hood, rudraksha mala necklaces and jewelled ornaments. Brass lamps with oil stand near the base, and rose petals are scattered on the floor and cloth. A golden figure with garlands sits on a wooden stand at the lower left. The setting is a pillared temple hall with large windows. The man's face is partly turned away and his appearance does not clearly establish a specific identity.2014-06-06
