Indoor industrial laundry at an ashram facility with large stainless washing machines and concrete pillars. In the centre, a woman in white uniform with a green lanyard unfolds a white sheet over a stainless steel folding table, while another uniformed worker in white stands at the far end. A woman in a red-orange sari with a red bindi, rudraksha mala and sandalwood-coloured marks stands beside a stack of folded white linen. A man in a white ritual cloth with rudraksha beads and a shaved head stands near the washers. Several men in white shirts and trousers, one in a light checked shirt and one in a plaid shirt, watch from behind. On the right, a man in an orange-brown robe with red-brown beads and a shaved head stands at the table edge. A white sheet is piled on a metal trolley in the foreground.2017-11-25November 25 20172017-11-25November 25 20172017-11-25Indoor photograph in a bright, plain room with a stainless steel table at the left edge. A man in white shirt and white dhoti holds a stack of books. A central figure with long dark hair wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment wrapped over the body and a red undershirt, gesturing as he talks; he has a distinctive long swept-back hair and saffron wrap, but the appearance is not clearly enough to confirm identity, so this is a sannyasi in conversation. Beside him a man in white shirt and dhoti with a gold-coloured sacred thread, a woman in a red sari with a beaded necklace, and a cameraman with a shoulder video camera filming, plus other standing onlookers and a saffron-clad person in the background. Ceiling fans overhead.2009-08-08November 25 20172017-11-25May 06 20162016-05-06December 30 20092009-12-30November 25 20172017-11-25Indoor photograph of a crowded room with white-tiled walls, a wall fan, and a whiteboard. In the centre, a woman in a cream sari with a shawl, wearing glasses and a gold necklace, presses her palms together while speaking. Facing her is a long-haired man in an orange top with a rudraksha mala. Beside them, a bald man in white robes and glasses gestures with one hand. Around them stand saffron-robed sadhus, a man in white with glasses, and a man in a green cloth with a long beard. Several people in white aprons and caps stand behind, near a table of fruit and vegetables. A camera operator is visible at the right edge. The cluster of people is clearly identifiable only through their visible clothing, so no individual is named.2009-12-30December 30 20092009-12-30Indoor photo inside a covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and fluorescent lights. A cameraman in white clothes and a yellow shawl films with a shoulder camera with a boom microphone at left. In the centre, an older man in white kurta and white dhoti wears an orange-red shawl draped over his shoulder and walks with a gentle smile. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with a bare upper body and a long shawl walks forward. On the right, a woman in an orange-red saree stands with palms pressed together in greeting. Several other people in white clothes stand behind them. Glass display cabinets line the right side.2009-10-15A photograph inside a large industrial laundry with exposed silver ducts and pipes along a white ceiling. Several white-uniformed staff work at large laundry machines and folding tables piled with white linen. A group walks through the aisle; in the centre, a bare-headed, bearded man wears a rust-brown robe over his shoulders, and beside him a man in a bright pink kurta walks. Others in grey vests, dark tops and light shirts follow, and a person at right films with a camera.2017-11-25
