A man in saffron-orange robes and a matching saffron turban sits on a large ornate golden throne with red cushions and a tiger-skin cloth draped over the seat. He wears a long rudraksha mala and a gold waist sash, and his hands rest on the armrests while he smiles toward the audience. Two tall painted attendant figures with multiple arms and gold crowns flank the throne, each holding ritual objects. Golden lion figures sit at the base of the throne, and brass oil lamps stand on either side. The pale blue and pink temple-style backdrop features a large carved wooden door behind the throne. The man has long swept-back hair and a distinctive saffron and gold ensemble, consistent with a person seated in a discourse setting.2013-09-19July 19 20132013-07-19September 19 20132013-09-19A seated man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl wears an orange turban and a long gold-beaded mala with a large pendant, with gold bangles on his arms. He wears a saffron-red cloth over his shoulders and a rudraksha mala, with a tilak on his forehead, and his hands rest in his lap. Flanking the throne are two painted statues of four-armed deities holding a trident, a drum and other emblems, with gilded lion-shaped armrest supports. Brass lamp stands stand on either side, a red carpet covers the floor, and painted pillars and a wooden door form the backdrop. The throne appearance is consistent with a person satsang setting, but the seated figure's features are not distinct enough to confirm identity, so this is marked unsure.2014-08-26August 17 20132013-08-17 +2 copiesA photograph of a seated teacher on an ornate gilded throne with lion-head armrests and a tiger-skin cushion, in a temple-like hall.
