The statue has a pink-red body, a tall ornate crown, gold jewellery and a multi-strand necklace, one hand raised in blessing and the other resting open on the lap with white lower garments. The murti has turquoise skin, a red face, a gold and jewelled crown, and a yellow and red garment with a blue sash. It wears layered beaded necklaces and a thick garland of yellow and orange marigolds. Its raised right hand shows an om symbol, and its left hand holds a gada-like club with a striped handle. A paper notice pinned to the tree names Sri Lakshmi Studio & Video, with phone numbers in Kannada script. Dark offerings lie on the stone base, and red powder is visible on the ground.2008-08-07Close-up photograph of a painted stone relief sculpture on a teal temple wall. A small standing figure with green-painted face, white-painted features and a red crown or headdress has hands pressed together in anjali mudra, bare-chested, wearing a short yellow-trimmed loincloth. Beside the figure is a spotted reddish-pink deer or antelope carving. The figure stands on a pink lotus-like pedestal. Only the sculpted figure and animal are present, with no physical people.2008-10-15A large painted statue of the monkey-faced deity Hanuman stands against a plain white block wall. The murti wears a gilded crown, orange and gold silk garments, layered gold necklaces, and a red and white flower garland.
