Tall flames rise from burning wood at the center, with offerings of rice and red and orange flower petals scattered on the stone edges. A bare arm, wearing a bangle and a dark bead bracelet, holds a bundle of straw or grass over the fire, and a brass vessel sits behind it. Yellow marigold garlands blur in the background. No face is visible, and no one can be confidently identified as a person.
