A close view of a fire ritual at a square stone fire pit. Tall flames rise from burning wood at the center, with offerings of rice and red and orange flower petals scattered on the stone edges. A bare arm, wearing a bangle and a dark bead bracelet, holds a bundle of straw or grass over the fire, and a brass vessel sits behind it. Yellow marigold garlands blur in the background. No face is visible, and no one can be confidently identified as a person. The scene is a homa or yagna.2016-09-09May 15 20162016-05-15January 05 20182018-01-05August 14 20162016-08-14 +1 copiesJuly 09 20152015-07-09 +3 copiesSeptember 19 20152015-09-19January 30 20162016-01-30 +1 copiesClose view of a homa fire pit built from stacked red and yellow bricks, with tall orange flames rising from the centre.
