A large crowd of devotees dressed mostly in white gathers around a massive banyan tree with thick aerial roots and hanging vines. Several saffron-robed monastics stand among them at the right, one in orange cloth with a shaved head near the tree trunk. Many participants have hands folded in prayer or are raised in devotion. The tree dominates the scene, with bright green foliage above. This appears to be a procession or gathering at a sacred tree during an ashram program.2009-06-17June 17 20092009-06-17A large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots dominates the scene, with a group of people gathered around its base on reddish-brown earth.
