A photograph of a seated figure in a brown leather throne-style chair, wearing rust-red saffron robes, a long rudraksha mala with large beads, and a white forehead marking, with a hand raised to bless a bowed man. A shaved-headed man in a rust-orange shawl and rudraksha mala stands beside them, bent forward, while a man in a striped white-and-blue shirt and dark trousers bows with his head lowered and palms pressed together before the seated figure. The background has red drapes, marigold garlands, and a gold ornamental panel. The seated figure has long-looking hair pulled back and a rudraksha mala with large beads, a distinctive presentation, but appearance alone is not sufficient to confirm identity.2014-05-24May 24 20142014-05-24A seated man in a rust-orange turban and orange-and-gold draped cloth, wearing a heavy rudraksha mala and gold ornaments and bangles, extends his hand in blessing toward a kneeling man in a lavender checked shirt and wristwatch who presses his palms together. Beside them a shaved-headed monk in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a vertical tilak sits near a brass oil lamp, and a standing woman in white with a rudraksha mala is partly visible. A seated figure in dark-red robes with long swept-back hair, a small ear microphone and bare feet reaches out to drape or adjust a red cloth held by a kneeling man in a purple shirt who bows low. Two standing monastics in saffron-orange robes, one wearing rudraksha malas and glasses, the other with a shaved head and white forehead markings, look on. A white mug sits on a brown table in front. Appearance-based cues on the seated figure are limited, so identity is uncertain.2014-05-24April 17 20142014-04-17October 13 20152015-10-13A seated guru in a rust-red and maroon robe, with a long rudraksha mala of large beads across his chest, a white tripundra on his forehead and a gold earring, sits on a red velvet throne with gold-patterned backrest. His right hand rests on the head of a kneeling man in a white-and-beige checked shirt, who bends forward. Behind them a second man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands before dark red drapes. Gold ritual vessels and a small pile of fruit sit on the red velvet cushions in the foreground. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan. Swamiji (probable): the seated guru wears long hair swept back, a rudraksha mala and ornate gold jewellery on a throne.2014-04-17A seated man in an orange-saffron robe with a gold-trimmed yellow edge sits on a red throne upholstered in red tiger-stripe fabric with a leopard-print cushion, smiling broadly. He wears a long rudraksha mala, gold ornaments on his chest and a white-and-red vibhuti tripundra on his forehead; a probable Swamiji by appearance cues including swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces and saffron clothing. A man in white clothing kneels and bows with his head touching the footstool in front of the throne, as in padapuja. To the left, a second man in peach-orange robes and a rudraksha mala gestures expressively. Behind them are a brass oil lamp stand, a blue vase of pink flowers and a painted forest backdrop with a banyan tree, and a deity mural at the right edge.2012-09-13 +1 copiesOctober 11 20152015-10-11October 11 20152015-10-11A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red saffron robe with a gold-and-bead necklace, long swept-back hair in a knot, and a white tilak on the forehead, extending a hand to a young man in a blue-and-white striped shirt who bends forward to touch the hand to his forehead.
