A seated man in an orange-saffron robe with a gold-trimmed yellow edge sits on a red throne upholstered in red tiger-stripe fabric with a leopard-print cushion, smiling broadly. He wears a long rudraksha mala, gold ornaments on his chest and a white-and-red vibhuti tripundra on his forehead; a probable Swamiji by appearance cues including swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces and saffron clothing. A man in white clothing kneels and bows with his head touching the footstool in front of the throne, as in padapuja. To the left, a second man in peach-orange robes and a rudraksha mala gestures expressively. Behind them are a brass oil lamp stand, a blue vase of pink flowers and a painted forest backdrop with a banyan tree, and a deity mural at the right edge.2012-09-13 +1 copiesApril 17 20142014-04-17May 12 20142014-05-12A seated man in red-maroon robes and a long rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with long dark hair swept back, smiling and extending his hand toward a bowing man in a red-and-orange shawl who is bare-chested at the waist. A woman in white with a red shawl and rudraksha mala stands at right, smiling, and a partially visible figure appears at the far right edge. The gilded throne with red cushions sits against a decorated blue and cream wall.2015-12-26January 02 20142014-01-02A seated guru in a rust-red and maroon robe, with a long rudraksha mala of large beads across his chest, a white tripundra on his forehead and a gold earring, sits on a red velvet throne with gold-patterned backrest. His right hand rests on the head of a kneeling man in a white-and-beige checked shirt, who bends forward. Behind them a second man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands before dark red drapes. Gold ritual vessels and a small pile of fruit sit on the red velvet cushions in the foreground. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan. Swamiji (probable): the seated guru wears long hair swept back, a rudraksha mala and ornate gold jewellery on a throne.2014-04-17July 04 20162016-07-04November 18 20142014-11-18A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange dhoti and draped cloth, with a long dark-brown rudraksha-style bead necklace, holding a yellow notepad and smiling as he reaches toward a man bowing deeply at his feet. The bowing man wears a white shirt and white trousers. Behind them a shaved-headed priest with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and an orange shawl smiles, and a gilded deity murti in a red and gold setting stands to the left. The seated man sits in a large brown leather throne-style armchair with gold-trimmed wooden arms, next to a cream footstool, consistent with a padapuja devotional setting. Two physical people are visible. The seated man shows probable cues of long swept-back dark hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, but his appearance alone is not decisive.2014-08-24A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions and a tiger-striped throne cover, with a golden lion-shaped armrest beside him. The seated man wears a rust-red robe with a gold-bordered drape, a red-brown rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders, a gold necklace, and white sacred ash markings on his forehead, and he smiles as he gestures with one hand. Facing him from the left, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a gold border and red waist cloth kneels or bends forward with ash markings and a rudraksha mala, in an apparent respectful gesture. A silver staff and a microphone stand are visible, with red curtains behind.2016-05-21A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne with a red and gold cushioned backrest, wearing a deep red-orange turban and a red-orange robe with gold border. A pink, white and blue flower garland hangs over their shoulder and they are smiling. A man standing at right in red-orange dhoti and shawl with rudraksha beads and a bead necklace holds an object near the throne. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in red-orange robes bends forward, touching the golden footstool at the throne's base, performing padapuja-style reverence. Small red flowers rest on a gold tray near the feet, and the scene is bathed in bright hazy light.2015-01-12May 21 20162016-05-21
