A seated woman in a rust-red sari sits on a carved wooden bench at left. Four men stand in the centre and right: three in white dhoti and shirts, one in a saffron-and-brown robe with an orange shawl, and one in white with an ID lanyard at far right. Lamps hang from the ceiling and a red mat lies on the concrete floor. The image is a photograph; the saffron-robed man is not clearly identifiable from appearance, so he is described by role only.2014-08-06A photograph inside an unfinished building under construction, with bare white plaster walls and a concrete floor. On the left stands a large white painted bull statue with gold trim, green and yellow saddle decoration, and a yellow bridle. In front of it a woman in a red headscarf and pink-orange skirt holds a trowel. Beside her, a worker in a cap and green lungi bends over a dark metal bucket of mortar and works near the wall. His long, dark, shoulder-length hair falls down his bare back. He reaches toward a small golden deity murti seated under an ornate gilded arched backrest, next to a golden stepped shrine piece (kalasha-like) and a red flower offering. Two men in white dhoti stand behind, and orange-clad figures appear at the edges. Rolled mats lean against a plain block wall. The platform has turned wooden railings and carved legs with metal wheels. a person candidate appears present by long swept hair and orange clothing, but appearance is uncertain.2006-09-20Outdoor photo of workers at a dirt excavation site unearthing a large pale plaster-covered stone or clay form with three round holes on its face. Two men in the foreground crouch and dig with tools, one wearing a checked shirt and plaid lungi, the other a yellow plaid shirt. Two more men stand behind a horizontal metal pipe, one in a green sleeveless vest and lungi, the other in a blue checked cloth. Brown earth surrounds the scene, and the form appears to be a statue being exhumed or prepared for shipment in a workshop setting.July 16 20132013-07-16 +1 copiesA man with grey hair and glasses sits cross-legged on a wooden workbench, wearing a white shirt and a yellow dhoti, working on a flat piece of wood with his bare foot pressed to the surface while his hands hold a tool. Behind him stands a large metal plate with an embossed floral design and a paper pattern taped to it. A sheet of yellow cloth lies on the bench beside a metal straight edge. Other people and wooden panels and carved pieces are visible in the sandy background, along with a blue water drum. The figure is an ordinary craftsman and the appearance does not support identifying him as a person.2009-12-19Making Of Sacred Arts UniversityMaking Of Sacred Arts UniversityA photograph of an outdoor shrine enclosed by bamboo scaffolding, with grey stone pillars and red velvet drapes framing a seated deity murti in orange and red garments, adorned with a garland and a halo-like backdrop.
