Several thick horizontal limbs extend over a sandy-red ground. Around the base, low circular stone platforms surround the trunk, and tall white pillars stand among the roots. At the far left, a small shrine holds a deity murti with orange and saffron cloth, beside a heap of red kumkum. Three people in light blue clothing sit near the shrine at left, and a few other figures are visible in the background.2009-09-07A large, old banyan tree dominates the frame, with a thick central trunk and many aerial roots hanging down and merging into multiple pillar-like trunks. Wide horizontal limbs spread out to the left and right, covered with green leaves. The ground beneath is reddish-brown earth with a few low white concrete edging blocks. At the lower right edge, a small red-based stone structure and a dark figure partly visible suggest a shrine or deity murti at the tree's base. No people are visible.2008-12-10A large, spreading banyan tree dominates the frame, its wide branches and dense green canopy stretching across the image. Multiple aerial prop roots hang down from the limbs and thicken into trunk-like supports around the main trunk. Sunlight filters through the leaves onto a reddish-brown earthen ground at the base, with a low pale concrete edging along the right side.
