A food distribution tent (annadan) at a festival. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis serve food from large stainless steel pots and trays. A man in the centre wears a white shirt, a rudraksha mala and white vibhuti marks on his forehead, and ladles food onto plates. A man on the right holds a steel plate of rice and curry. Others wear white caps and gloves. Red, white and orange canopy fabric and colourful bunting frame the tent.

A food service scene at an outdoor serving area. Several volunteers stand behind steel vessels filled with cooked rice and serve portions onto steel plates held by people at the lower left and bottom. A man in a white shirt with an ID badge and a woman in a plain white sari with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace serve from pots. A woman in a white-and-green sari with a white tilak on her forehead and an ID badge serves from a second pot on the right. A man in a yellow shirt stands at left, and figures in white clothing are visible in the background. A purple cloth hangs at the right edge.

A photograph of an annadan food distribution under a white tent with red, green and orange bunting. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with white vibhuti on their foreheads, stand behind a long metal counter ladling food from large steel pots into steel plates. In the foreground a man on the left with a white forehead mark holds a ladle over a steel pot, while a man in a white shirt on the right lifts a plate. A older man with a rudraksha mala and white forehead marking stands in the centre serving. Plates hold flatbread and a golden fried food. Several people are visible; the scene shows food service at a temple-style event.

A busy annadan food-serving scene in a thatched-roof hall. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes holds a white paper plate of yellow food. Beside him a man in white shirt and white dhoti spoons food from a large steel pot, while a woman in white with a gold necklace and a child in white also take part. Behind them crowds of men in white and light clothing gather around steel vessels of food. A wall behind shows exhibition panels with photographs, a colourful bunting strip and a banner.

A photograph of a crowd of men and some women in white clothing reaching toward a large metal cooking pot with a dark interior, passing food onto paper plates. A man at the front left wears a white shirt with an orange-red sash, and a man at the right wears a white shirt and a rudraksha mala. Others stretch their hands forward; a thatched roof overhead and a partly visible banner in the upper left suggest a temporary serving shed. The scene looks like annadan, food distribution to devotees.

A large indoor hall with a metal-framed roof and open sides hosts a crowded food distribution line. Many men and women, mostly in white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, queue and carry plates of yellow rice. A man in the foreground with grey hair, a white shirt and a rudraksha mala serves from a steel pot, while others hold steel vessels of food. Decorative carved pillars stand along the wall at the back. No a person candidate is visible in this scene.

A large communal dining hall where many men in white shirts and white dhotis queue along a long stainless-steel serving counter. Servers in white shirts and white clothing ladle yellow-orange food from steel pots onto steel plates held out by diners. Some men wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and lanyard badges. Ceiling fans, fluorescent lights, concrete pillars and windows line the hall, and a row of people stands and eats at the far end.

A serving line for a communal meal in an indoor hall with pink walls and decorative striped pillars. A woman in a white sari with a dark rudraksha-style bead necklace and a red hair flower ladles white rice from a large steel pot with a serving spoon. Behind her, men and women in white clothing hold out banana leaves heaped with rice and side dishes at steel serving pots. An older man in a white shirt on the left holds a banana leaf plate, and others stand in line, some in white dhotis and shirts. This appears to be an annadan-style meal service. No one clearly appears to be a person in this image.
