Outdoor ceremony on a stone terrace above the sea, with green foliage behind. A central figure in a rust-red robe and rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne under a multicolored parasol, hands joined in greeting. A bald monk in orange and a man in white hold ceremonial trident-topped staffs; a Balinese-style checkered umbrella and a red-and-black checkered banner stand nearby. Around them, devotees in white and orange-red robes sit and applaud, some holding papers. A young girl in orange holds a microphone while a monk in orange speaks at the front. The setting suggests a satsang gathering.2013-12-07Outdoor satsang on a stone platform with a seated man in orange-red robes, long dark hair, a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured ceremonial necklace, sitting on an ornate gold throne-like chair with a leopard-print cushion beneath a multicoloured Balinese-style umbrella. Around him sit a group of devotees: monks in saffron-orange robes, women in red and white saris with malas, and people in white ceremonial clothing, several holding printed papers. Tall silver-tipped staffs and a red-and-black checked cloth stand nearby, and a bald attendant in orange stands at left. Trees and a stone shrine are behind them. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, saffron-orange robes, a rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, and sits on the throne as the central figure.2013-12-07March 18 20142014-03-18Night-time outdoor satsang with devotees seated on a raised stone platform. A man with long dark hair, wearing red-orange robes and rudraksha beads, sits on an ornate gold throne under a fringed orange canopy, holding a small object in his hand. Nearby seated attendants wear red and white clothes; a woman in white with a long braid sits in the foreground, and a figure in orange-red robes stands at left beside a lit torch. Audience members in white and red garments with red beaded necklaces sit before white curtains and lamp light. The person on the throne matches the page's Swamiji (probable) cues: long hair, saffron-orange robes and rudraksha beads, seated in a ceremonial role. Approximately 25 people are visible.2013-12-20August 25 20172017-08-25Night photo of a ritual at an outdoor pavilion with gold drapes and a gold canopy overhead. A seated man in red and gold clothing, wearing layered garlands of flowers and a gold chain, sits on a gold throne. Before him, an older priest in white dhoti and shawl, with white markings on his arms, bows and touches his feet. Around them stand devotees: men in orange and saffron garments, women in orange, maroon and white saris with garlands, and a young man with white facial markings. Two white pots and a small offering of flowers sit on the floor. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person candidate only partially supported by visible cues, so the identity remains uncertain.2017-07-08December 03 20162016-12-03August 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesNight photograph of an outdoor stepped amphitheatre at a Hindu gathering. A seated man on an ornate throne-like chair under a multicoloured fringed canopy wears an orange-brown robe and holds a trident (trishul). He sits on a raised platform before a seated woman in a white sari with hands folded in namaskar, and a young man in orange robes sits beside her. Around them, rows of people in saffron and orange robes and white dhotis sit on red steps covered with striped cloths; some drummers in orange are at the left, and a fire-pit-style offering lamp and a small kalasha-like object appear in the foreground. Stage lights and a video camera are visible. About 100 or more people are present in the scene.2017-08-02August 14 20172017-08-14December 03 20162016-12-03December 12 20162016-12-12
