A man stands barefoot on a low stone platform beside a large banyan tree with many aerial roots, leaning his head against the trunk with eyes closed in a meditative posture. He has long dark hair tied in a back knot, a white vertical tilak on his forehead, and wears an orange-saffron cloth with dark red borders over his shoulder and a matching orange dhoti with red triangular border patterns, plus a beaded mala at his neck. A small floral kolam with purple and red petals is drawn on the stone at the lower left, and dry sandy ground and a brick wall fill the background.2011-01-21December 29 20082008-12-29March 13 20132013-03-13December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesA photograph of a single man standing barefoot on a curved white-painted platform beside a large old banyan tree with thick aerial roots. He wears a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder and has long dark hair, a rudraksha-style necklace visible at his neck, and he leans forward with one hand resting against the trunk. A strand of yellow and magenta marigold garland hangs on the left edge near the base of the tree. The setting is an open dusty courtyard with white walls and a few pillars in the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in appearance: long swept-back hair, saffron robe and a rudraksha-style necklace, though the candidate is not clearly identifiable.2010-02-12December 30 20082008-12-30May 05 20122012-05-05A photograph of a single man standing barefoot in an outdoor setting beside a large banyan tree with many aerial roots. A garland of yellow and purple flowers hangs on the trunk at left. Dry dirt ground and a white boundary wall are visible behind, with a small grey pole and a palm tree in the background. The figure has long dark hair and a thin gold necklace; the saffron robe and long hair are the appearance cues, and the page names Swamiji at this event but the face is not used. Swamiji (probable) in the sense of an appearance-based candidate with multiple cues: long swept hair, saffron clothing and a gold necklace.2010-02-12A photograph of a single man standing barefoot on a stone platform beside a large banyan tree with aerial roots. He wears an orange sleeveless wrap with red borders and a matching orange lower garment with red triangular trim, a vertical white forehead mark, and his dark hair is tied up. A pale pink and purple floral rangoli design lies on the stone at his feet, and a purple emblem appears at the lower left. Rocky ground and a low white wall are visible in the background.2011-01-21May 09 20132013-05-09 +1 copies
