A man stands barefoot on a low stone platform beside a large banyan tree with many aerial roots, leaning his head against the trunk with eyes closed in a meditative posture. He has long dark hair tied in a back knot, a white vertical tilak on his forehead, and wears an orange-saffron cloth with dark red borders over his shoulder and a matching orange dhoti with red triangular border patterns, plus a beaded mala at his neck. A small floral kolam with purple and red petals is drawn on the stone at the lower left, and dry sandy ground and a brick wall fill the background.2011-01-21A man in a rust-red sleeveless wrap with yellow-gold borders leans his head against a large grey banyan tree trunk with eyes closed. He wears a heavy necklace of gold beads over orange-red rudraksha-style beads, an orange bead armlet, and a bead bracelet, with white tripundra ash marks on his forehead. He stands barefoot on a small patterned mat on red earth, with greenery and a white structure behind him.2013-04-06A photograph of a barefoot person standing beside a large banyan tree, leaning forward with forehead and cheek pressed against its trunk and eyes closed. The person wears a sleeveless rust-orange wrap with broad gold borders, an orange beaded mala necklace, a gold bracelet and a small gold earring, with long dark hair swept back. A small red and white mat lies on the ground at the base of the tree. Sunlit foliage forms a soft background. The posture suggests prayer or quiet reverence. The person's bare-shoulder, long-hair and orange-robe appearance is consistent with the appearance-based Swamiji (probable) cues, while the orange mala and gold-bordered wrap are distinctive; the identity is an appearance-based judgment only.2013-05-09 +1 copiesA standing man in maroon-red robes with orange-gold borders leans his head and right hand against the trunk of a large banyan tree with many aerial roots. He wears a long rust-orange beaded necklace with large gold bead pendants, a matching beaded armlet and bracelet, and a white tilak with a red dot on his forehead. His eyes are closed and he stands barefoot on a small folded patterned mat in a dusty, sunlit outdoor setting. Probable Swamiji cues include the long swept-back hair and ornate gold-bead necklace, shown in a calm, meditative pose beside the tree.2013-04-06May 05 20122012-05-05A standing man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead poses barefoot against a dense tangle of banyan tree roots and trunks. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti with a gold border draped over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala with a gold pendant at his chest, and rests one hand on his hip with eyes closed. Dappled sunlight falls across the roots and sandy ground.2003-01-01December 23 20092009-12-23A photograph of a single man standing barefoot on a curved white-painted platform beside a large old banyan tree with thick aerial roots. He wears a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder and has long dark hair, a rudraksha-style necklace visible at his neck, and he leans forward with one hand resting against the trunk. A strand of yellow and magenta marigold garland hangs on the left edge near the base of the tree. The setting is an open dusty courtyard with white walls and a few pillars in the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in appearance: long swept-back hair, saffron robe and a rudraksha-style necklace, though the candidate is not clearly identifiable.2010-02-12July 03 20122012-07-03 +1 copiesMay 09 20132013-05-09 +1 copiesJune 07 20162016-06-07April 05 20122012-04-05
