On the stage, a figure in orange robes sits on a cushioned seat, and a second person in white stands nearby. Behind them is a dark curtain, a decorated deity murti on an ornate seat with a kalasha-style canopy, and a standing statue in orange. Colourful hanging banners with geometric patterns line the ceiling. A ceiling fan and water bottles are visible, and a painted portrait hangs at the side. The scene suggests a satsang or discourse, though the exact ritual is not clearly shown.2006-10-19Photograph of a satsang hall with a golden throne draped in red cushions at the centre, set against maroon velvet drapes with gold arched frames and colourful tassels. A golden figure of a standing deity stands on each side, and colourful paper lanterns hang from the ceiling. A seated figure on the throne wears a red floral garland and a white and gold cloth. Around the platform, orange-robed sannyasis and devotees sit in rows, many with shaved heads, white forehead markings, rudraksha malas and bare chests; some wear white dhotis. A large floral-decorated murti sits to the right. The image reads as a ritual gathering in an ashram hall.2013-10-13A wide view inside a tented hall decorated with tall cylindrical hanging banners in red, blue, yellow and white with folk-style animal motifs and yellow tassels. On a raised red-and-gold stage at the back, a seated figure in orange sits on an ornate throne with a golden canopy, flanked by colourful balloons and floral decorations, with a deep maroon curtain behind. Rows of seated devotees fill the floor in front of the stage, many in white and saffron/orange robes, with a few in white garments and some wearing orange shawls. Plastic white chairs line the sides and a camera on a tripod stands near the front. A few standing attendants in white and orange move through the hall. The seated figure on the throne is an appearance-based candidate in orange clothing on a throne, but the cues are not sufficient to confirm identity.2008-02-14 +1 copiesNovember 12 20102010-11-12A wide hall photo of a satsang gathering.
