Garlands of yellow marigolds and red flowers drape the carriage, with colourful tassels and bells hanging from its arched canopy. A seated figure in white and blue garments with ornate gold jewellery and a large crown-like headdress occupies the central throne, with a deity murti-style presence. Its hands are folded in anjali mudra, and it wears a turquoise and gold silk garment, layered gem and pearl necklaces, and a pink brocade shawl draped over the shoulders. Yellow marigold and white jasmine garlands surround the base and the ornate golden throne, and a red umbrella with tassels shades it. On the left, a standing man in white kurta and dhoti with a rudraksha mala watches. The scene suggests a ratha or palanquin procession.2010-01-05A decorated deity murti seated on a raised golden arched throne in a dark setting. The murti wears a gold crown, a gold and silver necklace, and bears jewelled ornaments on its arms. A dense arch of garlands in yellow, red, white, purple and green frames the figure. Below, a large yellow marigold garland drapes over a kalasha-like vessel, and four pots with coconuts and mango leaves stand around the dais, each draped in blue, purple or red cloth with silver and gold necklaces. The scene resembles a puja or abhishekam setup with no visible people.2013-11-20
