A bare arm wearing silver bangles reaches in from the upper right, holding a thread or sacred cord above the pot. Behind, a fire pit with burning flames, silver ritual vessels and a brass oil lamp with a lit wick stand on a colourful striped cloth. No people's faces are visible; this is an ritual homa setting with offerings.2018-04-11 +1 copiesClose view of two decorated ceremonial pots, kalasha-style, with yellow turmeric-coloured cloth wrapping and mango leaves at the top, tied with white string. Red rose garlands drape around both pots, and gold jewellery with blue gemstones adorns them, one in white silk and one in green silk. A silver ornate chair or throne back stands behind them. No people are visible; the setting is a satsang-style stage.2018-04-19 +1 copiesApril 19 20182018-04-19December 12 20162016-12-12A photograph of a ritual worship scene: a decorated silver-and-copper ornate chair or throne holds a deity murti dressed in a green and gold garment, heavily adorned with flower garlands of red roses and yellow marigolds, plus jewelled necklaces and a sheaf of grass tied with a cord. A person in orange-brown clothing and beaded rudraksha-style malas holds a silver plate of white ash or vibhuti, presumably offering it over the murti. A brass oil lamp stands at right, and a tray of pink flower petals rests on a silver table nearby. Only the arm and torso of the person offering are visible.2018-04-11 +1 copiesApril 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesApril 11 20182018-04-11Ritual arrangement of silver-meshed kalasha pots topped with yellow chrysanthemums, red roses and green leaves, wrapped in lavender cloth, set on a colourful striped woven cloth. A silver bowl with engraved designs and a folded white towel sit nearby, with blurred figures in white at the top edge. No people clearly visible in focus.2017-09-05Close view of a temple ritual with a person in a rust-red garment and a heavy white beaded necklace. Their hand holds a yellow turmeric-coated coconut above a row of three silver pots wrapped in white cloth with purple stripes. The pots are decorated with mango leaves, pink flowers and grass tied at their tops. Yellow turmeric blocks, fruit and white rice sit on a plate to the left, with a colourful striped mat behind. Only the lower body and hands of the person are visible, so no face is shown. The scene suggests kalasha puja offerings in a temple setting.2018-04-26 +1 copiesSeptember 24 20172017-09-24 +2 copies
