December 12 20162016-12-12A brass kalasha pot wrapped in white thread netting stands on a brass plate ringed with yellow marigold flowers and a bed of white grain. Mango leaves and a yellow-wrapped coconut crown the pot's mouth. Behind it, yellow and purple flower garlands hang against a rust-coloured cloth. No people are visible. A kalasha setup like this is typical of puja preparations.2011-12-09December 09 20132013-12-09April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesClose view of a temple ritual with a person in a rust-red garment and a heavy white beaded necklace. Their hand holds a yellow turmeric-coated coconut above a row of three silver pots wrapped in white cloth with purple stripes. The pots are decorated with mango leaves, pink flowers and grass tied at their tops. Yellow turmeric blocks, fruit and white rice sit on a plate to the left, with a colourful striped mat behind. Only the lower body and hands of the person are visible, so no face is shown. The scene suggests kalasha puja offerings in a temple setting.2018-04-26 +1 copiesMay 21 20122012-05-21 +1 copiesThree silver-finished kalasha pots with woven silver mesh sides stand in a row on a white grain-covered surface.
