Photo 11728677Close-up photograph of a ritual offering arrangement on a tray. Several coconuts wrapped in striped cloth (pink, red, green and white) and crowned with yellow marigold flowers and pink blossoms stand in brass-rimmed pots woven with white thread. Green bananas, a red apple, a split coconut with white flesh, scattered grains and green leaves surround them. No people are visible; this appears to be a kalasha-style puja display.2020-03-15Photo 11728674 +2 copiesA close view of rows of decorated ritual pots arranged on colourful cloths. Each pot is a coconut with its husk, fitted with a woven green, blue or orange cane cover and topped with bright yellow marigold flowers, green leaves and red flower accents. Yellow marigold garlands lie across pink, purple, green and blue fabrics, with a bunch of bananas on the right. No people are visible; the arrangement suggests offerings prepared for a ritual.2015-01-12 +1 copiesPhoto 11728671 +2 copiesMay 10 20172017-05-10A close view of a ritual arrangement of several conical kalasha-style pots made of yellow-green plant material wrapped in white cloth with maroon stripes and tied with dried straw. Each cone rests in a small brass or copper vessel with pink flower petals, mango or betel-type green leaves tucked among them, and a scatter of grain on a silver tray. Behind, a colourful woven mat and a blurred red fabric suggest a temple courtyard setting. No people are visible in the frame.2018-05-29 +2 copiesDecember 12 20162016-12-12December 02 20162016-12-02April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesPhoto 11728756 +2 copiesPhotograph of ritual offerings arranged on a stone surface: several coconuts wrapped with dried grass tied by strings, smeared with red kumkum, set in steel vessels covered with blue and white checked cloth and surrounded by green mango leaves and scattered pink flower petals.
