Outdoor ceremony under a red and blue canopy with draped yellow and blue fabric. A man in a white shirt bends forward to offer a glass bowl of fruit and yellow flowers held by a man in a sleeveless red-brown garment; the figure on the right wears a long multi-strand gold and red-flower garland, a silver-and-red ornamented necklace, gold bangles and a dark hair knot, and smiles while receiving it. Beside him an older man in a white shirt and green-and-gold shawl wears a white garland. A woman in a dark top and two men in white shirts stand nearby, with more figures and a red ceremonial cloth behind.2013-11-11November 11 20132013-11-11August 09 20152015-08-09November 11 20132013-11-11April 10 20162016-04-10June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesA photograph of a padapuja-style reception at an outdoor canopy under a red tent with orange and yellow fringed trim and hanging green leaves. A man with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala of large beads, a maroon-and-saffron wrap and gold bangles smiles while being garlanded with a red and white flower garland by a man in white. A bald man in maroon with a rudraksha mala stands behind him, and a smiling woman in a red sari and a man in white stand nearby. Several other people crowd the frame, with bananas hanging at the right edge.2014-07-03September 16 20132013-09-16July 03 20142014-07-03A crowd gathers around a brass-rimmed silver poornakumbham topped with a mango-leaf and yellow marigold arrangement, held by a bare-chested priest with rudraksha malas and a red-and-pink cloth on his shoulder. A man in a white shirt and spectacles stands behind it. At right, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears a large green and red marigold garland over an orange cloth and smiles, with a hand raised in blessing toward him. A standing sannyasi in saffron robes and a gold-beaded necklace stands behind him, and other men in white with sandalwood and vibhuti marks on their foreheads fill the frame. The setting appears to be a temple entrance. The long-haired garlanded man is a candidate for the page subject, but the appearance cues are not sufficient to confirm it, so identity is uncertain.2010-01-08January 09 20182018-01-09 +1 copiesDecember 23 20162016-12-23
