A photograph of a ritual homa or yagna in a hall with orange drapes. A seated central figure in saffron-orange robes, long swept-back hair and a rudraksha mala with a white-and-green floral garland sits with palms pressed together in namaskar before a white-covered fire altar decorated with yellow flowers. Around the altar, brahmacharis and devotees in white dhotis and orange shawls kneel with hands folded, some holding long metal ritual staffs. Brass bowls with offerings, flowers, bundled sticks and incense sit on the mats in front. A microphone stand stands beside the central figure. The central figure has distinctive long hair, saffron robes and a rudraksha mala, a probable match for a person in a ritual role.

Outdoor ritual homa at a covered open-air pavilion. A raised white stone fire pit burns with bright flames at the centre, with brass bowls, offerings and a small metal vessel on the foreground platform. Two boys stand at left: one in a white dhoti with bare upper body and a rudraksha mala, the other in a checked shirt, red pants and a yellow-and-white flower garland. Seated children and young adults in white and maroon garlands sit around the fire, and a microphone stands at the front. A gold-framed deity picture hangs at left beside a red-cushioned gold throne, and devotees in saffron and white sit behind in the background.

A homa fire pit built of white stone bricks sits at the centre of a floor covered with woven straw mats. Inside the pit are stacked dry sticks and small flower petals scattered on the bricks. A man in saffron-orange robes and a tall patterned crown-like cap sits cross-legged behind the pit with his hands folded in prayer. Two boys in white dhotis and white shirts with red and white sacred threads sit to his left, one with a tilak on the forehead and the other holding a folded paper. Behind them, several seated devotees wear white and orange clothing. At the left edge, rows of small brass oil lamps are arranged on a mat, and a brass bowl with a spoon sits near the pit, with sprigs of flowers nearby.

A photograph of a homa fire pit at an outdoor shrine, its tiered orange-painted platform decorated with white dotted curves and star motifs. Flames rise from the pit as a shirtless young priest in an orange dhoti and rudraksha mala stands behind it holding a ritual vessel. A second young man in white dhoti and shawl holds a microphone and a small flame-lit lamp, while a third in orange garments stands nearby. Around them, many children and adults in orange and white clothes stand on coloured mats, hands folded or palms together. Drummers in white and orange play frame drums at right. Floral garlands, banana leaves, brass bowls and a kalasha sit on the mats in the foreground, and a red-pillared building stands behind. The surrounding crowd is large and visible, with many people in the background.

Outdoor homa ceremony at a sunlit open-air pavilion. A man seated on an orange cushioned chair at the left, wearing an orange-red dhoti and a garland of white flowers, watches the ritual. At the centre, a man in white dhoti and a red head cloth sits cross-legged before a raised rectangular fire pit with a tall flame. Beside him, a row of young girls in saffron, red, green and blue dresses, with flower garlands and jewelled headpieces, sit with hands joined in prayer. Brass kalasha and oil lamps, flower garlands, a striped mat and an orange cloth rest near the fire, with banana plants and string decorations behind.

Outdoor homa ritual under a open-sided pavilion with palm trees behind. A large fire pit with bright flames stands in the foreground on the left. A seated figure in an orange-cushioned throne chair, wearing a long white garland and orange robes, sits with hands raised in prayer, with a lit lamp beside the throne. In front of the throne, a man kneels on a pink cloth wearing white dhoti, bare chest, rudraksha mala and red-pink turban, making offerings near small brass pots and kalasha vessels. Several young girls in white and gold saris with flower garlands and gold headpieces kneel nearby. A row of seated devotees in saffron and orange robes sits along the left and a priest in maroon and gold robes stands behind, pouring from a vessel. About 30 people are visible.
