Seated devotees in a ritual hall during a puja, with brass oil lamps and small trays of pink flowers laid on the floor before them. Several men wear white dhotis with gold borders and bare upper bodies marked with white ash stripes, plus rudraksha malas. A man in the centre wears glasses and holds an open book, while the man at right presses his palms together in anjali. Orange-robed devotees sit further back, and tall brass lamp stands line the room. No single individual here can be confidently identified as a person from appearance alone.2017-07-20May 28 20132013-05-28January 11 20172017-01-11May 16 20132013-05-16September 09 20112011-09-09November 04 20152015-11-04A seated group puja in a bright hall, with rows of devotees behind small marble puja stands holding brass lamps, bells, a conch-like vessel, flowers and fruit offerings. In front, a man in white dhoti and shawl with white sacred markings and a rudraksha mala performs the ritual with raised hands, eyes closed. To the right, a man in a rust-coloured robe and rudraksha beads sits with hands folded. Behind them, many boys and young men in saffron and orange robes with forehead markings and beaded malas sit attentively. The central figure is shaved-headed and wears thin-rimmed glasses, a rudraksha mala, a gold bangle and a white upper cloth with gold-coloured edges. Others beside him have white vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads and arms. Behind them a red wall and a man in a pale green kurta sit in the background. No one visible is distinctively identifiable as a person by appearance cues, so the presence of a person candidate is unsure. The setting suggests a pada puja or satsang moment.2011-11-04
