The figure on the left wears an orange turban and holds a trident, while the figure on the right wears a purple garment and crown-like headdress. Both wear garlands of red and white flowers and gold ornaments. In front, a smaller red-clad sculpted figure sits with hands in offering. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha, flower garlands and offering vessels stand on the stone platform. A blue backdrop and orange curtains frame the shrine, with a red-robed statue to the right. The setting suggests paduka puja at a temple.2011-08-18April 20 20122012-04-20 +1 copiesApril 29 20132013-04-29January 29 20132013-01-29Photograph of a gilded shrine with two large painted deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated side by side under an arched golden frame with green draped backdrop. The Shiva figure holds a trident and a small drum-like object, the Parvati figure wears a red sari with gold trim and a tall crown, both adorned with white and red flower garlands and gold jewellery. Below them a small seated figure in orange robes and a white head covering receives a flower garland, with a red-and-gold cloth draped before it. Gold oil lamps stand at the sides and a ceremonial staff rises at right. No living people are visibly present apart from the small seated figure, which appears to be a statue or effigy rather than a person.2012-04-27February 03 20122012-02-03May 04 20122012-05-04
