A figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe walks barefoot down the middle, hands folded in prayer, with long dark hair. Men on the left wear white shirts and white dhotis; women on the right wear white and cream saris, one with orange and pink borders. Colourful mats line the floor, and a camera on a tripod stands at the right edge. Dark banners hang on the walls behind them, and tube lights light the ceiling.2006-10-08Indoor hall with white walls, a row of ceiling fans and rows of white plastic chairs on white sheets over a concrete floor. A shaved-headed man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl walks down the central aisle with palms pressed together in anjali. Devotees line both sides: men in white kurta and dhoti, women in saris and salwar kameez, several bowing or folding hands in greeting. Hanging decorative pillars with woven patterns and orange tassels frame the hall, and framed photographs with a banner hang on the back wall.2007-09-21 +1 copiesA photograph inside a hall with a white ceiling, exposed white metal frame and a tall yellow-and-patterned pillar wrap.
