Photograph of a homa or yagna ritual inside a hall with draped deity murti or decorated backdrop. In the centre, a bald man in orange robes holds a flaming ritual lamp and a microphone while seated before a black brick fire pit surrounded by white-painted bricks, flower petals, and bowls of offerings. To the left, a seated man in orange robes with a red-bordered cloth rests his hands on his lap; nearby sits a fruit plate with oranges and bananas and a kalasha-like metal vessel. Behind, men in white clothes sit near a red-bordered drum, and a standing man in white shirt and trousers observes. The scene is decorated with garlands and draped textiles.

Inside a hall, a fire ritual is underway at a white-washed brick fire pit with a bright flame and scattered flower petals. A man in orange robes and a rudraksha-style necklace pours or offers into the fire from a metal vessel. Two other men in orange and white sit nearby; one at left holds a cloth and has orange wrap. A seated drummer in white beats a red drum at right, and a standing man in a white shirt watches from behind. Behind them a deity murti sits on a blue-draped platform decorated with yellow and white garlands. Brass lamps are arranged on the floor at lower left beside fruit, brass vessels and a purple cloth bundle, and a brass lamp stands at lower right.

A photograph of a homa ritual inside a hall. Two priests in saffron-orange robes sit before a brick-built fire pit whose top is strewn with marigold petals, red flowers and fresh leaves. The priest at centre holds a brass plate of offerings and sticks over the pit. The priest at left, with bangles on his wrist, sits beside silver vessels, a bowl of fruit with oranges, flower garlands and a purple cloth bundle. At right a drummer in white clothes plays a drum, and a brass oil lamp stands nearby. Behind them a backdrop shows a deity murti in red and teal draping, with a rows of small oil lamps in the foreground. Two priests visible, plus one drummer and one partly visible person at the right edge.

A homa is being performed in a hall with cream walls. A man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange head wrap sits cross-legged before a brick fire pit with flames rising, holding a brass vessel over the fire. A second man in white clothes sits behind him, and a partly visible person in white is at the lower left with offerings. Behind the fire, a framed portrait of a saffron-robed seated figure with a garland of marigolds and red flowers hangs above a white-draped altar holding a deity murti and brass lamps. Fruit, marigold petals and a brass kalasha sit near the fire pit.

A homa fire ritual on a bare concrete floor. A man in saffron robes with a white forehead band and a gold chain sits cross-legged behind a square altar of white bricks, feeding a small flame with a ladle held in his hand. A second man in white dhoti and saffron shawl with a tilak sits to the left beside a brass pot and small offering bowls. Behind them, more people in saffron and white sit and a drummer plays. On the right, a bronze deity murti stands in an arched niche with a white flower garland, on a purple cloth. Marigold petals are scattered over the bricks and brass lamps line the left edge.

A photograph of a homa (fire ritual) performed inside a tent-like hall at AadiKailaasa. A brick-built fire pit with a bright flame sits at the centre, surrounded by a brick enclosure and offerings of flowers, fruit, and a brass vessel. Around it sit about seven people in orange and saffron robes, some wearing white garments, with one person holding an open book and another preparing offerings. On the left, a figure in white with orange shawl sits beside a deity murti dressed in blue with a flower garland. A red-cushioned wooden chair stands behind them, and a colourful striped mat and bunting decorate the hall.
