A large black stone Shivalinga on a circular yoni-peetha base stands in an outdoor water tank, with water streaming down its surface and jets of water spraying from the sides. Several men with bare upper bodies and dark lower garments stand on the platform and in the water near the base, some pouring water over the linga. Tiered stone seating and metal railings with a staircase rise behind, and a small gold-framed deity murti stands at the right edge. A metal staircase and railing lead up to the linga platform, where a small decorated shrine with a garland and a kalasha-like arch sits beside the steps. Several men stand on the steps and water's edge, bare-chested, wearing saffron and maroon dhotis and sacred threads, one standing in the water near the base. Garlands of orange and yellow flowers wrap the lingam. In front, a seated figure is shown in a golden throne with a red cushion, appearing as a statue or depiction rather than a living person. Several people in orange robes work around the base, pouring liquid from metal pots and tending the abhishekam, while more orange-clad attendants stand on the platform and in the water.
