A young man with curly dark hair and a young woman in white ritual dress and orange shawls operate a large blue audio mixing console at an event. The young man wears a white kurta and orange stole and has a gold bangle on his wrist, while the woman in white with an orange shawl works the mixer beside him. Behind them, other women in white and yellow saris sit in an area with floral garlands and gold tinsel. Speakers, a control box and a laptop are on the desk.2008-10-09Photograph of a dimly lit indoor gathering seated on orange cloth. In the foreground, a young man with a shaved head, wearing a white dhoti-style cloth draped over the shoulders and bare-chested, sits with headphones around his neck and works a black audio mixing console with cables, beside a laptop and a black computer tower. Beside him, a man in a black t-shirt and dark trousers, also with headphones around his neck, sits and watches the controls. Behind them, other seated people in white garments are partly visible against a white wall. The scene suggests a sound-recording or broadcast setup during a satsang session.2011-08-13October 11 20152015-10-11A photograph of a studio or broadcast control setup. A man with a shaved head, wearing an orange-red robe and a long grey rudraksha-style mala, sits on a red chair at the right, looking toward a rack of video equipment. On the left, a monitor shows a grid of ceremonial images of a figure in ornate golden and red attire decorated with flowers. Nearby stand a laptop, a second monitor displaying text, a mixing or switching console, cables, a black bag and a studio stand. The man is a person seated in a production space, not a depicted figure, and no identity is asserted from appearance.2015-08-30August 22 20152015-08-22August 13 20112011-08-13A photograph of a seated group in a bright, plain indoor room with pale pink walls and a metal railing. In the foreground a shaved-headed young man in white dhoti with a tilak on his forehead wears large black headphones around his neck and a rudraksha mala. Behind him a woman with glasses and dark hair sits in an orange saffron garment, and a man in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala sits in front of a mixing console. Cables run across the floor to a computer tower and a flat-screen monitor showing a video of people. A laptop sits in the lower right corner.2011-08-13A photograph of three men seated at a sound mixing desk in a studio-like room with wooden shutters and a grey metal cabinet behind them. All wear white kurta-style clothing with navy lanyards and rudraksha-style beaded malas. The man on the left, with shaved head, looks down at the mixing console with its rows of knobs and faders, a yellow cloth on the table. The man in the centre with short hair watches attentively, and the bald man on the right wears glasses and looks ahead. A standing man in white is partly visible at the upper right beside a water bottle and microphone stand.2010-10-24October 11 20152015-10-11A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes working at a keyboard in front of a cluttered audio-video setup on the floor. He wears a dark rudraksha mala and a gold bracelet, and sits cross-legged on a wooden floor. Around him are computer monitors, a mixing or switching console, a rack unit, cables, a laptop, a notebook labelled Nithyananda Vani, a small container and a pouch. A red curtain hangs behind the equipment. The man's face is turned down toward the keyboard, and his features are not clearly visible. The scene reads as a satsang technical booth during a live event.2015-10-11A photo of a bald man in orange-brown robes and a wooden rudraksha mala sitting cross-legged on a floor covered in brown carpet, typing on a white keyboard. Around him is a cluttered technical setup: a large flat-screen monitor, several laptops, a black rack-mounted mixing or audio control unit, a small monitor, a black carrying case, and tangled cables. A red-draped table stands in the background. The scene suggests a satsang's behind-the-scenes audio-visual or recording station rather than a stage performance.2015-10-11April 29 20142014-04-29
