Two large deity murtis, a male figure with a red crown and a female figure with a black crown, stand under a gold arched niche, both garlanded with marigold and white flower garlands. In front, a priest in orange robes with bare chest and sacred ash marks stands at the left, extending his hand toward the figures, while another orange-robed man sits cross-legged at the lower left with hands together. At right, an orange-robed priest kneels before the shrine, and a man in white dhoti with hands folded kneels at the lower left edge. Offerings of flowers, a brass vessel and a platter sit on the stone platform, and a gilded palanquin is decorated with flowers at right.2010-07-21Photo inside a temple sanctum of a Shiva-Parvati pair of deity murtis seated on a dark pedestal, dressed in gold-and-green garments and ornaments, framed by dense garlands of yellow, red and white flowers. In front, three men perform worship: one in an orange dhoti on the left with hands folded, a bare-chested man in a maroon cloth bending to make an offering, and a man in a pink and purple dhoti with a purple sash bending at the deity's base. Brass lamps and flower arrangements sit on the floor, and the stone pillars and gold-toned canopy frame the scene.2018-04-14December 14 20112011-12-14 +1 copiesDecember 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesA temple puja scene before an ornate golden arch framed by red drapes. Two deity murtis are dressed in green and gold silk with garlands of red and white flowers, ornate necklaces, and a crown on the taller figure. A shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti with a bare upper body and a red-and-white garland stands at the centre holding a small brass lamp. To the left, three men in orange robes and one in white dhoti stand near tall brass lamp stands and a brass tray with offerings, and one holds a flaming lamp. Small brass bowls sit on the floor. The scene reads as an aarti or puja. No individual is confidently identified as a person from appearance.2012-04-24Temple ritual before two ornately decorated deity murtis, both with silver-and-gold faces, crowns and heavy jewelled necklaces, garlanded with white jasmine and red and yellow flowers. Three bare-chested priests stand in front: the left one in a blue cloth, the centre one in a green turban and white dhoti, and the right one in a gold turban and white dhoti, with white sandalwood marks on their bodies. The centre and right priests hold a vessel and a golden offering, performing abhishekam or aarti. Ornate gold framing and a green silk backdrop surround the scene.2015-10-18Outdoor photograph of a stone shrine with a large Shiva-Parvati style murti pair draped in yellow and orange marigold garlands. The seated male deity wears a red turban, a black ornate garment and layered silver necklaces and holds a trident; the female figure wears a green and maroon sari with gold jewellery and a crown. In front, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti bends forward to pour liquid over a dark stone shivalingam set in a black stone basin, with a small gold ornamental arch and a brass lamp stand nearby. On the right stands a man in an orange shawl and orange dhoti with red borders. Copper vessels sit at the base of the shrine and a small white statue wrapped in a garland is visible at lower right.
