October 29 20082008-10-29Outdoor photo at a temple-like complex beside a pool labelled "Saroyara" in white tile. A large white swan sculpture with an open red beak sits on a boat-shaped float at the water's edge. A man in a yellow robe and white dhoti stands at the center, gesturing toward the swan. Around him, saffron-robed sannyasis and a man in an orange turban stand along the metal railing, and men in white shirts and dark trousers stand at the right. A sign on the building reads "Saptarshi Teertha" beside a pillared pavilion with a red-tiled roof.2008-10-29Outdoor view of a temple-style pool complex under a clear blue sky. In the foreground, a white stone pedestal topped by a tiered pink-roofed canopy hung with small brass bells stands at the pool edge. Several people in saffron robes and white dhotis or kurtas stand near the pedestal and steps, and a man in a light shirt and dark trousers stands by the pool deck. Terraced stone steps, blue-railed balconies, and trees frame the background.2008-10-29October 29 20082008-10-29July 26 20102010-07-26December 05 20092009-12-05February 17 20082008-02-17Outdoor photograph of a large black stone Nandi bull statue in the right foreground, seen from behind its head, facing a rectangular temple tank of still water. In the centre stands a black Shiva lingam on a raised platform wrapped in yellow, orange and green flower garlands, with a horizontal tripundra mark on its base and yellow-and-orange garland swags. Behind the tank, tiered red-brick steps rise on both sides, filled with seated devotees in white clothes, and a multi-storey red brick building under construction stands beyond. A cameraman in white shirt films at lower left. Roughly a crowd of seated devotees in white, mostly sitting in the tiered seating.2016-01-03A large black Shiva lingam stands in the middle of a flooded red-tiered stepped tank, decorated with marigold garlands and a yellow-and-red cloth band, water spouts rising around its base. In the foreground, several men in white dhotis and garments wade in the water, and on the right a flower-decked boat with an orange canopy carries two seated figures, one in white, while others push it along. Red-and-white steps lead up to the structure and a metal staircase runs along the left side. The scene suggests a lingam abhishekam or ritual procession on the water.2010-07-26December 20 20132013-12-20Outdoor photo of a temple tank at a Brahmotsavam festival. A large black Shiva lingam with a serpent-shaped rim stands on a raised platform in the center of a green-water pool lined with red and white striped steps. A decorated wooden raft carries a gold-and-red palanquin with a golden canopy, on which a seated figure in orange and white garments is being honoured by attendants. Men and boys in white dhotis and shirts line the steps, several seated and others standing and holding long bamboo poles that guide the raft. A man in white with a saffron wrap stands at the right edge gesturing. Dry scrubland, trees and distant hills form the background under a clear sky.2009-01-02January 02 20092009-01-02
