In the foreground, a figure in a saffron-orange robe and an orange head wrap stands on a raised concrete platform, facing down toward two bare-chested men in white dhotis with orange borders who stand below in a sunken pit. A third man in a white shirt and light trousers stands at the left edge. A crowd of people in white dhotis, white shirts and dark trousers gathers on the concrete slab and the surrounding ground, and some hold cameras. Marigold petals and orange items lie on the concrete. The figure in orange has long dark hair and appears to be a person, based on the saffron robe, orange head wrap and long hair, in a presiding role over the ritual in the pit.2008-02-18February 17 20082008-02-17February 17 20082008-02-17January 03 20082008-01-03A photograph of a temple interior at dusk. In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron shawl and orange dhoti stands in profile facing left, with dark hair falling to his shoulders and his head tilted upward. To the left, two or three men in white ritual clothes with orange shawls stand behind him. A dark red curtain hangs on the right beside a carved grey stone pillar and a short flight of steps. Woven baskets with offerings sit on the floor at lower left, and a dark board with writing hangs on the left wall.2008-01-03A photograph at an outdoor pool-side ritual where several people gather around a round blue tub of water. Four figures lean over the water with hands dipped in, sprinkling water. Center right, a man in an orange-red robe with a long gold necklace and a red-orange head wrap, his hair long and swept back, smiles and raises one hand. Probable Swamiji by appearance: long swept-back hair, orange clothing and ornate gold necklace. Left, a bearded man in saffron-orange robes with glasses dips his hands; a man in pale pink shawl stands between them; at far right a shaved-headed man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala bends toward the water. Behind them, people in white and cream robes with malas watch, and a woman in a white outfit stands at the back left. Golden kalasha-style ornament floats on the water.2007-09-092003 World Tour - Bay Area USAFebruary 11 20082008-02-11
