Several figures hold oil lamps and a small brass bell.2013-03-10A photograph of a group ritual in a plain hall with pale walls and red curtains. Many shaved-headed men in saffron and maroon robes, many wearing rudraksha malas and white tilak markings, sit on the floor with hands raised or holding small brass vessels and lamps. Silver trays with flowers, a conch-like shell and small oil lamps are arranged in front of them. Several white-clad men stand at the back. Partial glimpses of an ornate figure appear in the scene, but no clear appearance-based candidate for a person is established. The image shows a puja or satsang-style observance.2013-03-17A photograph of a group of young boys seated cross-legged on the floor during a ritual at an ashram hall. Most wear saffron-orange cloths over their shoulders and rudraksha malas, with white tripundra forehead markings, and several have shaved or short-cropped heads. A boy in white dhoti and shawl with a mala sits in the centre, flanked by others in orange and maroon robes. Brass oil lamps, small kalasha-style vessels, bowls, and a tray with offerings sit on low wooden stands before them, and a few are handling items. Behind them, an adult in red-and-gold dhoti and another in white stand or sit in the background, with a dark wooden box at the left edge.2014-08-26Several young boys seated closely together in saffron-orange robes, their heads shaved and foreheads marked with white vibhuti stripes, hold up small brass oil lamps with lit flames during a puja. Some wear rudraksha malas around their necks, and one boy in the foreground holds a brass bell. Offerings and brass vessels sit on a low table below. The background shows a plain hall with a red curtain and a red chair.2013-04-24April 24 20132013-04-24April 02 20132013-04-02 +1 copiesApril 10 20132013-04-10
