Close-up photograph of the carved feet of a reddish-pink painted stone or plaster deity murti, shown in profile on a dark grey stone plinth. Beaded borders and foliate relief patterns decorate the ankle and lotus-petal base. A blurred green background lies behind. No people are visible, so the image concerns sacred sculpture detail only.2011-11-08Close view of a large carved, rust-coloured metal or cast ornamental piece with a scalloped edge and flowing foliate relief, leaning against a wooden post. Gold-toned highlights trace the carved edges. Beside it a stainless steel table with a metal cup and white flower-shaped items sits on black legs, and more reddish carved pieces lie on the floor at the lower right. No people are visible.2009-09-03July 19 20092009-07-19July 14 20132013-07-14Close-up of a dark stone hand or carved stone limb. It is draped in orange cloth with maroon edging, and a yellow flower garland hangs above. The background is blurred green foliage and bright light.2009-07-19Close photograph of a damaged, rust-coloured copper-toned metal relief panel with embossed scrolling or floral ornamentation, lying in wet ground and partly broken away from a plaster or cement base. A bare foot with dark skin rests at the upper right, and a bare foot appears at the top edge. A small blue-and-white plastic container sits at the lower right. A purple bird logo appears at the top left. Wet earth and debris surround the relief. No people are fully visible, and no a person candidate is clearly visible in the frame.2011-10-22A photograph of a large irregular lump of copper-toned metal sheet, partially shaped into a mound, resting on a concrete or dusty floor. The metal shows a textured, blue-and-orange oxidised surface and a folded flap on top. Its base is embedded in grey plaster or cement set over newspaper fragments. A white plastic bag lies at the bottom edge. No people are visible.2009-09-03A close photograph of a sculpted wooden or clay figure's lower body, shown from the front seated posture: thighs, knees and bare feet with toes, glossy dark brown with orange-brown highlights and scattered wood shavings on a dark work table. Only a partial person is visible at the top edge, a hand resting on the figure's hip and a white-clad arm and lap, so the visible human is a craftsman or assistant, not an identifiable figure. The figure is an unfinished carving, not a finished murti.2013-07-01October 22 20112011-10-22Photograph of several large, weathered brown-copper or bronze sculptural fragments laid out on a grey stone-tiled floor, apparently pieces of a temple idol or ornamental figure. Pieces include curled, ridged forms resembling ornate crowns, a large rounded section, and a broken hand-like or conical part, with some surfaces showing green-brown patina. A small white chunk lies at the top. At the left edge, the lower legs of a person wearing an orange and gold-bordered garment and bare feet are partially visible. No deity identification is clear from the visible fragments.2013-07-14Close-up photograph of two carved wooden or metal sculptural forms lying on a wooden plank amid sand and dirt. The left piece is dark brown, glossy and oiled, with deeply carved ridges and a hollow base; the right piece is copper-toned with fine geometric and scroll patterns, a pointed finial and a small circular medallion. No people are visible. A green paper tag is attached near the left piece. The scene appears to be a temple craftwork setting with ritual or architectural elements.2009-09-06A large ornate copper vessel lies on its side on a paved brick-tile ground. Its embossed surface shows repoussé floral scrolls, geometric diamond lattice panels, bands of beaded rope pattern and a stylised scroll motif, with a flared mouth at one end. No people are visible.2011-10-22
