The banner carries Tamil text headed by the Dhyanapeetam logo with a blue bird. At left, a framed portrait labelled in Tamil script shows a smiling man in a yellow-and-white turban and ornate dark embroidered garment. Two motorcycles are parked at the wall base. No physical people are visible in the scene.2006-11-05A large blue outdoor banner with Tamil lettering and a printed portrait of a man with long dark hair, wearing a white head cloth or turban with a red line visible at its edge and a small red tilak on his forehead, looking to the side with a smile. The banner is mounted under a corrugated metal roof on a metal frame, with a pole in the foreground. The Tamil text reads 'தியானபீடம்' and 'தியான மையம்' beside a small white bird logo. The portrait is printed and depicts a person, so no physical people are present in the scene. A partial faded painted face appears at the right edge.2007-07-25A large purple roadside banner photographed outdoors announcing a Ratha Utsava festival. Beside the road, a man in a white shirt and dhoti stands partly visible at the lower right, holding green leaves. The banner's left panel shows a portrait of a smiling man in a white head wrap, white cloth draped over the shoulders and a long rudraksha mala, sitting with hands folded; the portrait is labelled as Paramahamsa Nithyananda. A smaller printed poster with a similar white-wrapped portrait sits at the bottom. The banner text in Tamil describes a chariot procession of Sri Anandeshwari and Sri Anandeshwarar in a Shiva temple. Green bushes and a road with vehicles fill the background.2006-10-20A blue vinyl banner with a bird logo in the top left and large dark Tamil lettering reading Dhyana Peetam at the top and Dhyana Maiyam below. A large printed portrait of a man with long dark hair, a white head wrap and a red tilak on his forehead, with white garments edged in red, occupies the left side. A handwritten paper notice in the lower right gives a name and address in Tamil. The banner is printed, so the figure is a depiction, and appearance cues (long swept hair, white head wrap, red tilak, white garment with red edging) are consistent with the a person but the portrait is not clearly identifiable, so the status is unsure.2005-07-09OCtober 6, 7, 8 2004 - 3 Mass Living Enlightenment Initiation conventions at KancheepuramA blue roadside billboard with white Tamil text announcing Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam at Singarapettai, with the line welcoming visitors with joy.
