A large printed portrait of a man with long dark hair, a white head wrap and a red tilak on his forehead, with white garments edged in red, occupies the left side. A handwritten paper notice in the lower right gives a name and address in Tamil. The banner is printed, so the figure is a depiction, and appearance cues (long swept hair, white head wrap, red tilak, white garment with red edging) are consistent with the a person but the portrait is not clearly identifiable, so the status is unsure.2005-07-09A blue vinyl banner mounted on a reddish-brown slatted wooden surface shows a close-up portrait of a smiling man in a white head wrap, with a red-and-white border on the wrap, a small red bindi on his forehead, and long dark hair falling behind. The banner's upper text reads the name of Dhyanapeetam in Tamil with a dove-like emblem, and a white handwritten label in the lower right lists several Tamil names and a village. The portrait is a printed depiction on the banner.2005-07-09 +1 copiesOctober 16 20062006-10-162006-HEALING-AND-SERVICES-IN-TAMILNADU +1 copiesJune 07 20042004-06-07A large blue outdoor banner with Tamil lettering and a printed portrait of a man with long dark hair, wearing a white head cloth or turban with a red line visible at its edge and a small red tilak on his forehead, looking to the side with a smile. The banner is mounted under a corrugated metal roof on a metal frame, with a pole in the foreground. The Tamil text reads 'தியானபீடம்' and 'தியான மையம்' beside a small white bird logo. The portrait is printed and depicts a person, so no physical people are present in the scene. A partial faded painted face appears at the right edge.2007-07-25October 20 20062006-10-20A blue printed poster with a white paper label pasted on its lower right. The poster's upper area carries Tamil script reading தியானபீடம் beside a black oval logo with a white bird. Below, a profile portrait of a man in a white head wrap with a red bindi and long hair, looking to the right and smiling, filling the lower left of the sheet. A second Tamil line, தியான மையம், sits at the right. A handwritten white label gives a Tamil name, address and phone number. The poster is shown flat against a surface and has no visible physical people in the scene.2005-07-09
