A man in orange robes sits on a red cushioned seat wearing a long brown rudraksha mala, holding a shallow plate, while a man in a white dhoti and orange shawl ties or adjusts a cord around an orange cloth held by another robed attendant. A brass vessel with a green leaf sits on a small wooden table at left. Several devotees in white and orange shawls, some holding rudraksha malas, stand behind. The scene resembles a flag-hoisting or ceremonial tying of a sacred cloth.2008-03-26October 05 20132013-10-05A bearded man sits cross-legged on a carved wooden throne-couch draped with leopard-print cushions, smiling with hands clasped in his lap. He wears a rust-orange turban with a crescent ornament and white flower garland, orange-red robes, rudraksha-style beaded mala necklaces, and gold armlets and bangles, with white and red forehead markings. A microphone stand is at his side. Behind him, a large embossed bronze relief shows a multi-armed deity in a dancing pose holding a drum and other objects, with a bearded sage figure at right. A tall gold trident stands at left and a large unglazed clay pot sits in front of the couch. Probable Swamiji is seated in a satsang-style discourse setting, with cues of the rust-orange clothing, crescent turban ornament and rudraksha malas.2017-01-04December 31 20152015-12-31
