Shivastambha Yoga

Mallakhamb is an ancient form of yoga performed on a wooden pole or on a rope.

Etymology

Mallakhamba’s name entwines Sanskrit and Hindi to literally mean pole wrestling. “Malla” means wrestler, while “khamb” translates as pole.
