A home shrine set up with a bright yellow cloth-covered table holding brass kalasha and lamps, flowers, a bamboo plant, and small deity figurines. Behind it stands a large cutout of a smiling man in an orange-red turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial garland, with a trident beside him. A tall black panel shows a painted figure holding a trident. Framed portraits of a smiling woman in orange sit on the table, and a framed painting above shows a seated man in a red robe on an ornate throne. Brass statues of female figures flank the table, and garlands drape the frames. No people are physically present. The cutout and portraits are depictions; the appearance is consistent with Swamiji (probable) by the turban, rudraksha mala and orange clothing, with the throne painting likewise a depiction.A home altar arranged for puja with a framed photograph of a saffron-robed man with long dark hair and a rudraksha-style mala, one hand raised in blessing, placed at left beside a framed image of Lord Shiva with trident, crescent and ash markings, garlanded with marigold and red flower strands. A deity murti of a goddess and a framed Nandi-style shrine picture stand at right. Offerings include a bowl of yellow dal, flatbreads, a lit oil lamp, a brass kalasha-style vessel, flower petals, fruit and small figurines on a floral cloth. No people are visible.

Kṛṣṇa must have been laughing at Arjuna. ‘You fool; you pretend to be wise and quote the scriptures.Who do you think you are quoting the scriptures to? What can you understand of what I Myself have said?’ Kṛṣṇa continues: ‘Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you and all these kings, and never in the future shall any of us cease to be.’na tv evāhaṁ jātu nāsaṁ na tvaṁ neme janādhipāḥ I na caiva na bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarve vayam ataḥ paraṁ II 2.12. With this verse begins the essence of the whole Gītā. This is ātmajñāna, Self-Realization, the knowledge of completion. If you can understand this one verse, you can become enlightened straightaway and enter into eternal bliss. If you think our souls will also die with our bodies, you are wrong. We were there before our birth and will remain after death. It is not true that any of us will not be in the future " Unclutching Session #31 - 2 Participants (142) Bhagavat Gita Reading #49 - 2 Participants (237)
