A shrine table covered with a leopard-print cloth holds offerings for a puja. Dominating the center is a life-size cardboard cutout of a smiling man in a red-orange turban, red-orange robe, gold trident held in one hand, and multiple gold-bead and rudraksha-style malas with white flower garlands; the cutout is not a physical person. Flanking it are framed photographs of a man with long hair in saffron clothing, a small silver-framed image of a deity, metal figurines, a trident, an open book on a stand, pink paper lotus flowers, white jasmine petals, a brass oil lamp and a bell. The figures are a depiction, and the scene is a photograph of a shrine.A home shrine table draped in leopard-print cloth, arranged with white jasmine and blue flowers. Two small cut-out figures of men in saffron turbans and ornate gold necklaces sit at the left, appearing to be printed or cardboard depictions. Brass and gold deity figures in flower garlands stand on the table, alongside a brass kalasha, a trident and a rudraksha mala lying in front. Behind are framed pictures, a small printed image of a temple with a trident, and a pair of brass drums. No people are visible.A photograph of a home shrine cluttered with household items. Dominant is a black multi-headed deity murti with several faces, gold crowns and red tongues, draped in a yellow cloth and garlanded with pink, white and red flower garlands. Behind it hangs a framed painting of a goddess in red and gold robes holding a long staff. At the lower left stands a brass lamp with blue flowers and marigold garlands, beside silver trays and a brass bell. Small framed photographs of a saffron-robed sannyasi are placed on the shelf and table, but the figure is not clearly identifiable. Plastic bags and shelving fill the background, and a leopard-print mat lies on the floor.A home shrine photographed on a leopard-print cloth, with no people present. Central is a framed photograph of a smiling man in orange robes with a beaded necklace, seated before a banyan tree and raising one hand; the frame is labelled with printed text. Nearby is a black-and-white framed photo of a seated figure, a red-and-white garland draped over a folded orange shawl, a lit brass oil lamp, a red apple, and flower decorations. Behind are a painting of a goddess with a red garland, a Shiva picture with trident and bull, and small figurines of deities and a seated guru on a peetha. a person candidate is shown only in a framed photograph, described as a probable depiction by appearance cues of orange robes and a smile, though this is not a confident identification.A home shrine photographed at close range. A large framed print of Shiva, Parvati and baby Ganesha seated on a snowy mountain backdrop, with Shiva holding a trident, is hung with red and white flower garlands and rudraksha beads. To the right stands a painted panel of a goddess in red and gold attire holding a sugarcane stalk. In front, a brass plate, a figure of a dancing deity, small gold pyramids, a crystal elephant and a purple crystal figure are arranged on a leopard-print cloth. Three small framed prints show a goddess, a temple gopuram and a seated ascetic in orange. A brass bowl and scattered white flowers lie at the base. At the lower right, a person in a yellow garment is partly visible. Two small figures on the shrine resemble seated bearded men in orange robes; their identity is uncertain.
