Translation

"In the same manner, one should exhale and hold the breath as instructed by a Guru. The repeated attempt of Rechaka is known as Svaṅga-śṛṇkhalā. This should never be practiced by haṃsa-vedha, which is, no doubt, attained through īśvara-praṇidhāna (devotion to God). This practice leads to attainment of purification of the nadis, feeling of well being, arousal of Kuṇḍalinī and its entry into Brahmarandhra and also success in Meru Kumbhaka. Moreover, Rechaka, becomes subtle and Pūraka gets prolonged by the grace of the Lord who is adorned by the Gods and the demons alike."
