Translation

Fixing the mind mainly on Saumya Mandala (i.e. Ardhacandra Mandala) which is to be contemplated upon as surrounded of Trikona Mandala and encircled by Catursasra Mandala (corresponding to vāyu) with the accompaniment of seed letters corresponding to the fire, water and air, he should consider himself as if he is seated into a Mandala. This kind of Dhārana is efficacious in granting śānti and puṣṭi. This is also capable of effecting the annulment of diseases and death.
